Our Programmes

The School of Politics, Philosophy, Language & Communication Studies offers a variety of options for those wanting to pick up a new language or build their existing skills. 

By taking a class with us, you will improve your:

DayTIME Classes

Open to current UEA students and staff
Our daytime language modules include 10 languages are run like any other university module. Each course has 3 contact hours per week and will have to fit in with your degree timetable. Taking a class as a non-credit option means no exams and the module won't appear on your transcript.

evening Classes

Open to all, including the public
Have you ever wanted to refresh the French you learnt at school or speak Greek with the locals on your next holiday? Then why not take an evening class? Each course lasts for 10 weeks, with a 2 hour class once a week and is purely for leisure; there is no pressure to learn but a lot of opportunity for fun!
